Organized by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda as part of the BIFA6_015 project "Filling data gaps with the natural history collections of the Western Ghats", the main aim of this mission was to visit the Dangs Forest and Dang Herbaria at Waghai Botanical Garden to retrieve information for the project's dataset and to verify identification of certain plant specimens.
Two research fellows from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda were assigned to this mission, which also included discussions with personnel from the South Forest Division, Waghai, Dangs, to disseminate open data practices with other Indian institutions.
