As a content provider, RMCA has established a plan to disseminate information regarding a selection of ornithological publications and specimens from its African Biology Department: the most important data set contains the 131 photographed name-bearing types (2009) among its type specimens of birds, of which a detailed list has been published in 2002 in the form of a catalogue (Louette et al., 2002), which has been electronically updated in 2010.
