Palarapdap is a 6-30 cm high annual glabrous herb. This herb is branched from the base with somewhat angled and ascending branches. It has 1-3 cm long elliptic-ovate to oblong leaves with faint nerves. Each leaf has short green petioles and small white calyx. Palarapdap's cymes are placed in upper leaf axils or terminally. The somewhat panicled cymes have 3 to 4 flowers and slender pedicels. Lastly, the species has 3 mm long cup-shaped or ovoid capsules crowned by 4 small calyx teeth.(Pancho, J.V and Wm. Sm.
