diagnosis
Diagnosis Cteniogaster lampropus sp. nov. differs from all other Cteniogaster gen. nov. species by the relatively large PME, the strongly iridescent legs and the vulva with widely separated piriform posterior ST 1 with internal spikes and more median and dorsally situated, broad, longitudinally oriented ST 2.
etymology
Etymology The species name is a noun in apposition and is derived from the Greek LaMpRoς, shining, and poUς, leg, referring to the strongly iridescent legs.
