diagnosis
Diagnosis. Belonging in species group cerata (García Aldrete, González & Carrejo (2013). The forewings and the shape of the hypandrium relate it to E. teslai n. sp., and E. nukak n. sp., differing from them by the shape of the endophallic sclerites, specifically the mesal sclerites, with a broad process directed anteriorly, wider distally and side ends of each sclerite bifid and by the hypandrium shape with median sclerite rounded and U-shaped posterior concavity. Color (of parts mounted on slide). Head pattern (Fig. 27) pale brown, with dark spots; compounds eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents; genae with transverse dark band; clypeus with diagonal dark bands converging to the middle; maxillary palps light brown. Legs: pale brown to cream. Forewings (Fig. 25) hyaline, with brown spots on cells cu 1 and cu 2 and on veins ends; pterostigma with proximal and distal brown bands. Hindwings (Fig. 26) hyaline. Hypandrium brown, darker anteriorly. Epiproct and paraprocts light brown. Morphology. Head: H / MxW: 3.48; compound eyes large, H / D: 2.6; IO / MxW: 0.19. Outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with five-six denticles. Forewings: L / W: 2.53. Pterostigma wider in the middle: lp / wp: 1.50, areola postica tall, apically rounded: al / ah: 1.41. M four branched, M 4 forked. Hypandrium (Fig. 18), median sclerite rounded, with U-shaped posterior concavity. Phallosome (Fig. 30) with side struts V-shaped, external parameres short, rounded apically, with a row of small teeth on posterior margin; lateral endophallic sclerites elongate, bow-shaped, wider posteriorly; mesal endophallic sclerites each with a broad process directed anteriorly, wider distally, side ends of each sclerite bifid. Paraprocts (Fig. 29) broadly triangular, setal field posteriorly, with two macrosetae dilated distally; sensory fields with 25 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct semi-oval, with three mesal setae near anterior border, other setae as illustrated (Fig. 29).
