discussion
Remarks A specimen of this species from GB was figured by Rolán et al. (1990) as Cuspidaria capensis (E. A. Smith, 1885). Specimens from GB have a posterior rostrum shorter than usually seen in Cuspidaria rostrata, and are smaller, resembling in those features Cuspidaria meteoris Krylova, 2006, described from the mid-Atlantic seamount group. However, they do not show the sloping postero-ventral margin characteristic of the latter, and are therefore conservatively identified to the mainland species.
