description
Male Head black with a yellow band along inner margin of eye. Width of vertex 1.5 times diameter of eye. Antennae black, 10 joints, length of third joint 2.5 times width. Ocellus somewhat larger, placed the middle of eye. Pronotum black, with two yellow sports near anterior margin and a yellow band from lateral margin to posterior angle. Fore wing black with two yellow spots near base and two yellow spots near top. Hind wing longer, reaching to the end of cercus. Fore leg and mid leg brown, with yellow band at base and apex. Femur of hind leg black, with two yellow marking on upper side. Tibia of hind leg brown, with a small white marking near base, upper margin smooth. Abdominal tergum black, and sternum black, with white band. Cercus and stylus dark. Epiproct black, with a longitudinal groove in the middle. Female Body larger than the male. Width of vertex 2.0 times diameter of eye. Pronotum without two yellow sports near anterior margin. Hind wing shorter, not reaching to end of cercus. 8 th sternum with a small obvious notch on the middle of posterior margin. Other as same as the male. Measurement (in mm): Length of body: ♂ 5.2, ♀ 5.9 – 6.3. Length of tegmina: ♂ 1.6, ♀ 1.6 – 2.2. Length of hind femora ♂ 3.4, ♀ 3.9 – 4.0.
diagnosis
Diagnosis. The new species is similar to Xya leshanensis Cao et al, 2017. The major differences are listed in Table 1.

Holotype ♂, paratypes 2 ♀, Fujian, Sanming 26 º 13´N, 117 º 36´E, 2017 - 5 - 17, collected by Cao Cheng-Quan.
