diagnosis
Diagnosis. Scutum with two brown median vittae between the dorsocentral rows of setae, reaching the second pair of postsutural dorsocentrals; two strong presutural dorsocentral setae; wing veins bare and wing with no brown marks; costal spine developed; lower katepisternal seta more distant from the anterior than from the posterior one; fore tibia without posterior seta; mid tibia without anterodorsal seta; hind tibia without a posterodorsal seta on basal third; claws and pulvilli developed. Male terminalia. Sternite 5 triangular, with setae on disc, lobes large, each one with a strong seta (Fig. 20); cercal plate square and surstylus short, as long as cercal plate in lateral view (Figs 21 – 22); aedeagal complex with phallapodeme short and straight, epiphallus a little longer than postgonite, and distiphallus very short (Fig. 23).

Examined type material: Holotype male seen; mid left leg missing. One male paratype from Mozambique (Mt. Mulanje) dissected and illustrated.
