Kurator, a provenance-enabled workflow platform and toolkit to curate biodiversity data

Kurator is a framework being built around the curation of biodiversity data in its early stages of development.

The goal of the Kurator project is to develop an extensible, open source toolkit for automated and semi-automated workflows to aid biodiversity research using diverse curation services. Kurator will include a graphical user interface designed specifically for managers of natural science collections. It also will deliver data curation components for use by biodiversity researchers employing general-purpose scientific workflow systems or scripting languages to develop pipelines for analyzing ecological, evolutionary, phenological, genomic, and related data.
