IPT: GBIF Integrated Publishing Toolkit
The Integrated Publishing Toolkit, or IPT, is open-source software developed by the GBIF Secretariat and the primary platform for sharing compatible biodiversity datasets with the GBIF network.
Designed for interoperability, the IPT enables the publishing of content in databases, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, or text files using the open Darwin Core and Ecological Metadata Language standards. Users can also take advantage of a 'one-click' service that converts metadata into a draft data paper manuscript for submission to a peer-reviewed journal.
