description
Description. Head with vertex wider at base than long in midline. Pronotum in midline shorter than vertex in midline. Mesonotum with three carinae, lateral carinae strongly converging anteriad, curved and connected with median carina, lateral carinae reaching posterior margin of mesonotum. Tegmen about 3.5 times as long as wide, with apical portion oblongly elongate; membrane long, tip of clavus not reaching half of tegmen length; costal area about ⅔ as wide as costal cell, with apex distinctly exceeding level of apex of clavus, intersected by transverse veinlets; branch ScRA 1 strongly oblique, reaching Pc + CP before its apex, slightly apicad of level of claval apex; costal cell without transverse veinlets; stem ScR with supernumerary terminals; stem M 3 + 4 forked basad of stem M 1 + 2 forking; stem CuA forked slightly apicad of stem M forking; postcubital cell with a few transverse veinlets; claval veins Pcu and A 1 coalesced slightly apicad of half of clavus length, apicad of stem CuA forking.
diagnosis
Diagnosis. Regarding the pattern of tegmen venation, the forking of the main stems resembles that of genera placed in the Sarebasa + group defined by Soulier-Perkins (2000, 2001) and Soulier-Perkins et al. (2007). Tegmen with long and narrow costal area developed, intersected by scarce transverse veinlets; clavus narrowly open, with a few transverse veinlets between CuP and Pcu and CuP and Pcu + A 1; Hind wing with quite long, oblique veinlet r-m, oblique veinlet m-cua at the same level and a few veinlets icua at same level; stem M forked slightly basad of veinlet r-m and apicad of veinlet m-cua, branch M 1 + 2 forked in apical portion of wing; stem CuA forked basad of half of hind wing length, branch CuA 1 forked distinctly basad of stem ScR forking.
