Eni Ghana

GBIF publisher since
12 June 2024

Description

Eni Ghana is a subsidiary of Eni, a global technology-driven energy company. We actively support a socially fair energy transition by creating long-term value. We are diversifying our energy mix to make energy more sustainable and accessible. In Ghana, we operate the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) project; the only gas development project entirely dedicated to the domestic Sub-Saharan Africa market. This guarantees reliable gas supplies, making a significant contribution to energy access and local economic development. As part of our biodiversity policy, we support the principle of sharing data from our environmental monitoring activities with the scientific community and the general public. We actively participate in a wide range of research programmes and industry partnerships to further build knowledge and develop innovative solutions to protect biodiversity.
