State Environmental Institution National Park Braslav lakes

Description

State Environmental Institution National Park Braslav lakes was created on September 1, 1995 to preserve the natural complex of Braslav group of lakes, historically formed relief, genetic Fund of flora and fauna of the Belarusian lake district. It is located in the North-West of Belarus. The area is 64 493.3 hectares. There are 73 lakes on the territory of the national Park. Flora has a population of 2055 species of plants and fungi, fauna - 312 species of vertebrate animals.
