El Centro Científico Tecnológico (CCT) CONICET Mendoza (Argentina), conocido hasta 2007 como Centro Regional de Investigaciones Científicas y Tecnológicas (CRICyT), es un organismo oficial creado mediante un convenio entre el Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas de Argentina (CONICET), la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo y el Gobierno de la Provincia de Mendoza. El CCT CONICET Mendoza está formado por siete Institutos destinados a la generación de conocimiento científico y tecnológico: IADIZA, IANIGLA, IBAM, IHEM, IMBECU, INAHE e INCIHUSA. El Instituto Argentino de Investigaciones de Zonas Áridas (IADIZA) desarrolla investigaciones sobre las tierras secas. y posee colecciones biológicas representativas de este recurso (Entomológica, Aracnológica, Mastozoológica, Herpetológica, Ornitológica y Herbario). El Instituto Argentino de Nivología, Glaciología y Ciencias Ambientales (IANIGLA) tiene entre sus objetivos promover el conocimiento de la dinámica ambiental presente y pasada del oeste argentino. El IANIGLA almacena una Xiloteca y colecciones paleontológicas (Paleoinvertebrados, Paleoinvertebrados y Paleobotánica) provenientes fundamentalmente de proyectos de investigación. The Technological Scientific Center (CCT) CONICET Mendoza (Argentina), known until 2007 as the Regional Center for Scientific and Technological Research (CRICyT), is an official institution created through an agreement between the National Scientific and Technical Research Council-Argentina (CONICET), Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (UNCUYO) and the Government of the Mendoza Province. The CCT CONICET Mendoza is composed of seven Institutes focused on scientific and technological research: IADIZA, IANIGLA, IBAM, IHEM, IMBECU, INAHE and INCIHUSA. The Argentinean Institute of Arid Zones Research (IADIZA) develops scientific research on dry lands and has biological collections representative of this resource (Entomological, Arachnological, Mammalogical, Herpetological, Ornithological and Herbal). The Argentine Institute of Nivology, Glaciology and Environmental Sciences (IANIGLA) promote the knowledge of present and past environmental dynamics of the argentine west. The IANIGLA stores a Xylotheque and paleontological collections (Paleoinvertebrates, Paleoinvertebrates and Paleobotanic) that mainly come from research projects.
