The University of the Armed Forces - ESPE is recognized as a reference at the national and regional level for its contribution in the field of its academic domains. Promote scientific research and technological development programs for the solution of problems in strategic areas for the State , such as the protection and conservation of the environment. Part of the Ecuadorian Biodiversity database generated by the BIO-GEEC project will be hosted by this institution.
