Description

Soils, Food, and Healthy Communities (SFHC) is a farmer-led participatory organization that was founded in 2000 in response to high levels of child malnutrition, soil infertility, food insecurity, and gender inequalities in northern Malawi. Currently, SFHC conducts research on impacts of agricultural practices on ecosystem services and biodiversity, including birds and beneficial arthropods, such as bees, parasitoid wasps, and beetle predators.
