Description

The Institute carries out comprehensive humane and natural-scientific studies of the interaction of nature and society in Western Siberia, including study of biological diversity. There is a herbarium collection, which includes about 40 thousand plant samples (TMN). Employees of the biological department are the authors of several scientific monographs, the key to identify plants of the Tyumen region and regional Red Data Books.
