For nearly 40 years, Fundación Defensores de la Naturaleza (FDN) has remained dedicated to the conservation of Guatemala's natural resources. Throughout this period, FDN has established itself as a prominent leader in environmental initiatives, both on a national and regional scale. Through a combination of robust conservation efforts and the implementation of sustainable development practices, FDN has successfully protected approximately 5% of Guatemala's territory, playing a pivotal role in preserving its highly diverse ecosystems.
