Description

University PetrSU was founded in 1940 as the Finnish-Karelian University and gained its present name in 1956. Institute of Biology, Ecology and Agricultural Technologies of PetrSU include 4 Departments, which teach and carry out researches in biology, ecology, biotechnology and other fields. Department of Botany and Physiology of Plants is taking care about university gerbarium (PVZ) and collect data from field researches.
