Description
The University of the West Indies Zoology Museum (UWIZM) is the de facto national zoology collection of Trinidad & Tobago. It is run by the Department of Life Sciences at the UWI campus in St. Augustine. The UWIZM mission is "To collect, preserve, document and display the fauna of Trinidad & Tobago". The collection contains over 65,000 invertebrates and 5,000 vertebrates and covers all the major groups of animals found in and around Trinidad & Tobago.Contacts
