Description

The University of Belize Environmental Research Institute (UB ERI) focuses its efforts on three core areas: research and monitoring; capacity building; and communication & outreach. The UB ERI's research and monitoring work seeks to address the most urgent gaps in research knowledge needed to inform management decisions regarding the use of natural resources. It also aims at cataloging the country's natural resources and biodiversity via inventories and assessments as well as determining their status and the health of the environment via monitoring.
