Description

The PHH Herbarium of University of Science holds thousands of plant specimens since the finding of the University of Science, Vietnam. These specimens represent both historical documentation and invaluable records in the past and present for various fields of botanical researches. About 5,000 specimens were collected before 1975 by Professor Pham Hoang Ho, author of the 3-volume Flora of Vietnam and his colleagues, both locals and foreigners. PHH Herbarium also holds the largest cryptogam collection in Vietnam with more than 5000 specimens of bryophytes, lichens, pteridophytes and fungi.
