The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (Norwegian: Norges miljø- og biovitenskapelige universitet, NMBU) is a public university with around 5100 students and 1700 employees. The main campus is located at Ås in Akershus, Norway. The Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Natural Resource Management, Department of Ecology and Natural Resource Management (NMBU-INA) is responsible for education, research and information with focus on fundamental biology and ecology, natural resource management and forest science.
