The National Institute of Fisheries Research (IIP) of Mozambique is a public institution, subordinate to the Ministry of the Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries, that develops research works necessary to the scientific knowledge of the fishing resources of Mozambican jurisdictional waters with a view to their management, conservation and optimization of their exploitation.
