Description

The scope of work that the Department of Environmental Protection and Conservation (DEPC) covers, are range of division’s. The Legislation division, Biodiversity and Conservation division, EIA division and The Environmental Protection Division. All of which, operates in various field of work, to achieve a main goal and that is the department’s Vision that reads, "Leading Vanuatu to a clean, resilient and sustainable environment" and in order to achieve this vision, the Department is guided by its Mission, “Think Environment First: Show People!", where it is important that various activities that are carried out by the Department, has to be an example of a clean, resilient and sustainable environment measures that the people of Vanuatu could follow.
