Description

A cadastre of mammals of the Chechen Republic was prepared for publication, including the following criteria: biology and ecology of the species, habitat, number. Data on 495 species of vertebrates inhabiting the territory of the Chechen Republic are collected. Data on 400 species of coleoptera and hemiptera were collected. The material is annually replenished by field research, both in lowland areas and in mountain areas of Chechnya. A considerable herbaric material has been collected on the flora of Chechnya. The general fund of scientific herbarium is more than 2000 plants. Collected data on the flora of the Chechen Republic, which includes 2295 species of vascular plants belonging to 732 genera and 148 families.
