Kaniv Nature Reserve

Description

The Kaniv Nature Reserve is located on the Dnieper in Central Ukraine. It was created in 1923 and is one of the oldest Nature Reserves in the country. Main purposes: nature conservation, scientific research, environmental education. The Nature Reserve was included in the structure of National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv. Monitoring researches according to the program Chronicle of Nature are conducted since 1969.
