Abilene Christian University Natural History Collection

Description

The Abilene Christian University Natural History Collection contains good collections of Neotropical mammals (mostly from Ecuador), Insects, marine invertebrates (mostly Mollusks). We have some specimens of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fossils of invertebrates and vertebrates. The mammalian part of the collection was accredited by the systematics collections committee of the American Society of Mammalogists in 2004. The ACUNHC maintains a frozen tissue collection in -80 C freezer.
