Description

The Herbario de Botánica Económica del Ecuador of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito USFQ is an academic space where students and professors put into practice their theoretical and research experience on topics of taxonomy, systematics, phytogeography, evolution, and the study of ecosystems. It constitutes a repository of plant diversity, phylogeny, ecology and biogeography. Specimens kept in herbaria not only constitute material to catalog, but also a source of material to be investigated.
