Kuzbass botanical garden

Description

Kuzbass Botanical garden was founded in 1991. Currently it is a department of the Federal research center of Coal and coalchemistry SB RAS (FRCCC SB RAS). The main activities of the Kuzbass Botanical garden: the Introduction plants of the Altai-Sayan mountain country; floristic study in the south of Western Siberia; disturbed lands restoration; educational activities. Also in the international cooperation conducted a study of the flora of Central and Eastern Kazakhstan. The structure of the Kuzbass Botanical garden includes herbarium (Herbarium code: KUZ), laboratory of plant introduction, laboratory of recultivation and biomonitoring, laboratory of ecological assessment and biodiversity management.
