Description
Our Mission is to conserve birds, their habitats and global biodiversity, working with people towards sustainability in the use of natural resources. Our network of over 2 million birders, scientists and local volunteers helps us to track, follow, analyze, conserve and understand every bird species in the world. The Pacific has more threatened bird species per unit of land area, or per person, than any other region in the world and is home to around a quarter of the world’s globally threatened bird species. The BirdLife Secretariat in Fiji supports a flourishing network of seven national organizations and all the local people that we work with along the way.Contacts
