Description
The Consortium of North American Bryophyte Herbaria (CNABH, http://bryophyteportal.org) is a collaboratively compiled datastore that was established with the main purpose of providing services to assist biological collections in digitizing, managing, and publishing bryophyte research data. The data foundation is built upon an integrated dataset of several million bryophyte specimen records actively curated within more than 100 different institutions distributed across North America. In addition to specimen data, the bryophyte portal provides services for managing and distributing biological resources associated with bryophyte inventories, taxon descriptions, field observations, specimen and field images, interactive identification keys, and taxonomic information.
