Description
The NEON Biorepository data portal (https://biorepo.neonscience.org) publishes biodiversity occurrence records associated with samples and specimens collected as part of the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) (https://neonscience.org). NEON is a continental-scale ecological observation facility, fully funded by NSF and operated by Battelle, that collects and provides open ecological and atmospheric data from 81 field sites across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The NEON Biorepository, which is operated by the Biodiversity Knowledge Integration Center at Arizona State University (https://biokic.asu.edu), maintains NEON physical sample and specimen collections, as well as their associated data in the NEON Biorepository data portal and Symbiota installation (https://symbiota.org).
