The Global Nature Positive Summit 2026 is an international event focused on accelerating efforts to implement the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), agreed by 196 countries in 2022 with a commitment to halt and reverse nature loss by 2030.
The Summit aims to showcase strategies and road maps toward delivering nature-positive outcomes, with a particular focus on the private sector. Ahead of other international meetings in 2026, such as the UN Convention on Biological Diversity’s COP17 in Armenia, and the UN Convention to Combat Desertification’s COP17 in Mongolia in August, the Global Nature Positive Summit will help focus attention on how to chart a course to a nature-positive future in business, finance and governance.
