This is the final workshop in the CESP2024-016 project AI for specimen labels.
We invite both the participants of the previous events and new people interested in use of AI in transcribing specimen labels.
We will sum up the progress of the project, including some information about DiSSCo and its annotation infrastructure, and current status of SpLAT - Specimen Label Automated Transcriber. We will also test SpLAT using different LLMs and discuss possible methods of evaluating the tool's result, as well as the future plans and opportunities.
