Two members from GBIF Zimbabwe spent five exciting days in Madrid as five mentors from GBIF Spain held a data publication and citizen science engagement workshop in September 2019. The two members from GBIF Zimbabwe were trained in data mobilization tools and concepts that would be useful in the training of data holders in Zimbabwe, as a part of a CESP project, Strengthening Zimbabwe's GBIF node thorugh mentoring by GBIF Spain.
