An online meeting was held to launch Entomological Association of Zimbabwe followed by a week long online training, Zimbabwe’s Insects Data Mobilizing Training Course as a part of the BID project, Biodiversity data in support of climate action, life on earth and sustainable food and feed: Reptiles and arachnids found in Protected Areas and edible insect fauna in Zimbabwe

The institutions represented were, Natural History Museum, Parka and Wildlife Management Authority, CIRAD (French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development), Chinhoyi University of Technology, Forestry Commission, Gwanda State University, Lupane State University, International Fund for Animal Welfare, George Silundika High School, Masogwe Baptist Secondary school, Odzi sub catchment council, Shangani ranch and University of Zimbabwe.
