This event was organized and held as part of the CESP project “Capacity building through regional cooperation for data mobilization in Belarus, Latvia and Lithuania (CESP2020-015)”.
The main goal of the conference was the assessment of the state of knowledge of the biological diversity of eukaryotes in Belarus, Latvia and Lithuania.
Main frameworks of the conference were:
- Information systems and databases on the biological diversity of eukaryotes in Belarus, Latvia and Lithuania.
- Repositories of materials on the biological diversity of eukaryotes in the region (scientific collections, botanical gardens, arboretum, museums, etc.).
- Taxonomic diversity of animals in Belarus, Latvia and Lithuania.
- Taxonomic diversity of plants in Belarus, Latvia and Lithuania.
- Taxonomic diversity of fungi in Belarus, Latvia and Lithuania.
- Taxonomic diversity of protists in Belarus, Latvia and Lithuania.
