The major goal of this workshop is to familiarize student participants with the goals of the project “Kenya’s other carnivores: Harnessing biodiversity data for effective development of national conservation strategies” funded under the Biodiversity Information for Development (BID) programme and to provide training in fundamentals of biodiversity informatics, data digitization, and georeferncing specimen locality data.
