A Fig Sphinx, Pachylia ficus, Linnaeus, 1758 from ransactions of the Zoological Society of London (1912-1915). Public Domain, via Biodiversity Heritage Library.

Learn about the global data campaign WeDigBio—short for "the Worldwide Engagement for Digitizing Biocollections"—and the various ways that getting involved can benefit scientists, citizen scientists, holders of biodiversity collections and others.

We also look ahead to the upcoming 2022 series of GBIF regional nodes meetings with a presentation from the chair of the Node Managers Committee, Anne-Sophie Archambeau, on the updated GBIF nodes strategy, which will frame discussions at the regional level this year.
