Stakeholders’ Meeting

The aims of the meeting were to give feedback on the outcomes of the BID Project, to emphasise and encourage stakeholders on the importance of mobilising biodiversity data and to discuss the possibilities of setting up a national Biodiversity Information Facility. It was attended by 26 people from 15 institutions. There was general agreement on the need for a national biodiversity information facility. A team was chosen to continue the discussions and map the way forward.
