1. Introduction to GBIF Data Management Tools (10 minutes)
- A brief introduction to the suite of GBIF data management tools.
2. Demonstration of selected tools (30 minutes)
- GBIF Data Validator: How to check and improve the quality of datasets before publishing.
- Species name matching: How to validate scientific names against the GBIF backbone.
- Brief mention & links to other tools: IPT, Name Parser, and Sequence ID Tool.
3. Q&A Session (20 minutes)
- Discussion and answers to questions.
