ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability organizes a 2013 Local Climate Solutions Congress, which provides a unique and accessible platform for African local leaders, their associations, national governments, technical experts, researchers, development partners and businesses to engage in finding innovative solutions for building urban climate resilience in Africa.
As part of the congress, a training event will be organized targeted at local government representatives. This event is part of the activities related to a GBIF mentoring project between ICLEI and the South Africa National Biodiversity Institute - SANBI.
