If you are already an editor for the Global Registry of Scientific Collections or if you wish to become one, you are welcome to join our online course.

This course aims to support the community maintaining collection data in GRSciColl. It gives an overview of the GRSciColl data structure and its relationship with GBIF data, explains the GRSciColl permissions system and presents the GRSciColl editing interface. By the end of the course, participants should be able to model and update the collection information in GRSciColl. The material of this course can be reused by the participants to organize their own online or onsite training events.

During the kick-off meeting, participants will be presented the training materials and exercises. The participant will then have six days to complete the three training modules before meeting again to ask questions and discuss the exercises.

Note this event will be run twice to accommodate different time zones.
Please choose the one that works best for you.
