Join us for the first 2026 technical support hour for GBIF nodes on the 4th of February at 4:00 pm CET. We are starting the year with revisiting one of our old blog posts on how to choose a dataset class when sharing data on GBIF. In addition to giving data providers the tools to choose a dataset type, we will also discuss how this choice may be influenced by other developments: the Darwin Core Data Package (DwC DP), the Global Registry of Scientific Collections (GRSciColl) and checklistbank.org.
