GBIF is working with regional support teams in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe and Central Asia. In this webinar, the regional support team in Africa will update the Node Managers and staff within the region, highlighting their ongoing efforts. There will be a deliberate emphasis to align these efforts with the objectives of the Nodes implementation plan, as well as with the specific tasks designated for Node Managers and staff within the plan. In this way, the members will demonstrate how they are complementing nodes to effectively execute the implementation plan.

The webinar will also be an opportunity for the node managers to plan for the upcoming joint meeting of the African nodes and launch of the next phase of the BID programme.

For any further information contact the Africa regional support team.
