The objective is to inform all interested parties on how OBIS recommend that occurrences from genetic data are added to OBIS, and how they can currently be accessed.
There will be time for questions and open conversation on the subject. The agenda for the webinar is the following:
• Introduction to metadata linked to genetic data and the DNA-derived data extension
• Introduction to the first eDNA dataset of OBIS using the extension
• Introduction to the access to genetic data in OBIS
• Future plans for OBIS regarding genetic data
