Brunswick Valley Heritage Park began to be planted in the 1980s by Russ and Beryl Maslen. At the time a grassy paddock along the Brunswick River it is now (2016) a young forest of trees, vines and other plants, wildlife and fungi. Two nest boxes were installed recently. Approximately 30 fungi have been observed but no one is very sure of what we have. The monitoring project, of all species, will help discover hidden treasures.Purpose
