Description

The dataset contains data on the findings of 53 species of birds registered within the investigated territory.

Sampling Description

Study Extent

We are sincerely grateful to the NGO "Ukrainian Nature Conservation Group" for financial support. We express our sincere gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to finalize the materials and hope for new research under the peaceful sky of independent Ukraine!

Sampling

Materials were collected through accidental photo and audio registration during botanical field expeditions to the investigation area. The findings are presented in chronological order.

Quality Control

The author is fully responsible for the quality of data provided within the dataset.

Method steps

  1. Conducting of field expedition.
  2. Visual and audial registration of presence of avian species.
  3. Species identification.
  4. Georeferencing.

Dataset consists of exclusively registrations of birds (Aves).

Geographic Coverages

The dataset covers the sothern part of the Synyukha River valley from the Ternivka Village (Vilshanka district, Kirovohrad region) to to the site of the confluence with the Southern Bug River in Pervomaisk (Mykolaiv region), as well as the valleys of its tributaries - Black Tashlyk, Small Tashlyk and Dry Tashlyk.
