Description

Monitoring of the diversity of hemipteran insects on the territory of the Republic of Mordovia is part of the ecological monitoring of the state of ecosystems. The purpose of this study is to study the biodiversity of hemipterans in the region. The Ichalkovsky and Temnikovsky districts have been surveyed most thoroughly, which is primarily due to the location of federal protected areas on their territory (the Smolny National Park and the Mordovian State Reserve). The smallest number of data on the species composition of hemipterans is in Bolsheignatovsky, Ardatovsky and Torobeevsky districts. This database presents information that was collected by entomofauna researchers from 2008 to 2022 during the field seasons. Insects were collected by various methods (mowing net, light trap, Malaise trap, Merike plates, window and soil traps, manual collection).
